What we teach
Windsurfing
The classic. Easiest to stand up on, and Aruba's flat lee-side water makes the first hour far less humbling than it sounds.
Kitesurfing
The most air, the steepest first day. We start on land with the kite before anything touches the water.
Wingfoiling
The newest of the three and the quickest to click once you have any board sport behind you.
Why here
Wind almost every day
Trade winds blow most days of the year, from January to August and well into September to December. Lessons rarely get cancelled for lack of wind.
Warm, flat water
No wetsuit needed and no cold-water shock when you fall in, and you will fall in.
Shallow teaching area
Lessons stay inside the teaching area: flat water where you can stand almost everywhere, with your instructor there for the whole lesson.
The school
Lessons are small on purpose: group windsurf classes take at most six people, kite and wing classes are for two, and every sport has a private option. Every lesson includes the equipment, and we pick it for your size, your level and the day's wind.
The school is run by Jeroen Weststrate, a former PWA windsurf pro whose family has sailed on Aruba since the 1980s. Lili looks after bookings and the beach. Most of our students have never been on a board before they arrive, and they're exactly who we like to teach.
